I live at the Southern tip of Africa where
the two oceans meet, the Indian and the Atlantic.
My home, which I share with my husband, son,
daughter, 2 dogs and 2 cats, is on the slopes
of Table Mountain in the City of Cape Town.
I make jewellery because I love the creative
process, from sourcing the components to the
finished piece.
Grossmama's journal is inspired by my own
Grossmama who had a farm in Africa, where
I, as a child
had wonderfilled holidays. Grossmama always
dressed for dinner and wore
beautiful jewellery. Some of which is now mine
to treasure and wear. It also inspired me to create
my own. Her journal is an account of the life
she lived and the people she met, after leaving
her home in Switzerland.
The energy in the joy of making my pieces will
be felt by the wearer.
